Blinky

Description

The Blinky example is the entry point for new users. This application makes use of the SR1000 API in the most basic way to create an uncoordinated bidirectional data link. The data exchange triggers a change in LED state to give visual feedback.

Behavior

Each board transmits a frame every 500 ms and then puts itself in receiver mode for a maximum of 500 ms. When a board receives a frame, it toggles its LED0 and puts the transceiver to sleep for the remaining time. Once the 500 ms period ends, the next transmission cycle starts.

Configuration

To build this application, the compile options “LOCAL_ADDRESS” and “DESTINATION_ADDRESS” must be defined and set to a 16-bit value. Local address on one board must be the destination address on the other and vice versa. Note that this is taken care of by the provided build configurations in the STM32CubeIDE project.
