Fares is a seasoned Global Executive with more than 30 years of broad management experience in semiconductors, EDA and healthcare IT. Most recently Fares  was VP/GM of the Semiconductor Business Unit  at ANSYS, the world’s leader in engineering simulation. Before ANSYS, he was President of TeleResults, a Healthcare IT company focused on transplant and organ disease patient management.  Fares has held various executive management, marketing and sales and  engineering roles at at Actel Corporation (acquired by Microsemi), AMD and Samsung Semiconductor. Mubarak holds a MSEE degree from Case Western Reserve University and a MBA from Golden Gate University.

Frederic Nabki, PhD, directs the technological innovations that SPARK Microsystems is bringing to market. Frederic has 17 years of experience in research and development of RFICs and MEMS. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in 2010. Dr. Nabki has contributed to setting the direction of the technological roadmap for start-up companies, coordinated the development of advanced technologies and participated in product development efforts. His technical expertise includes analog, RF, and mixed-signal integrated circuits and MEMS sensors and actuators. He has published several scientific publications, and he holds multiple patents in microsystems and integrated circuits.

Dominic Deslandes, PhD, leads SPARK Microsystems’s long-term technology vision. Dominic has 19 years of experience in the design of RF systems. In the course of his career, he managed several research and development projects in the field of antenna design, RF system integration and interconnections, sensor networks and UWB communication systems. He has collaborated with several companies to develop innovative solutions for microwave sub-systems. Dominic holds a doctorate in electrical engineering and a Master of Science in electrical engineering for Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, where his research focused on high frequency system integration.

Tom Spade joined SPARK Microsystems as Chief Revenue Officer in April, 2021.  Tom has more than 30 years of professional Semiconductor Sales leadership & has led his sales teams thru 4 IPO’s & 3 acquisitions over his career.  Prior to joining SPARK Microsystems, Tom was Vice President of Global Sales for Adesto (acquired by Dialog, 2020).  Tom previously held sales leadership positions at Audience (acquired by Knowles, 2015), Boston Power, Validity Sensors (acquired by Synaptics, 2013), Synaptics & Alliance Semiconductor.

Raphael Mehrbians joined SPARK in January 2022 as Chief Marketing Officer.  Raphael has over 30 years of executive, marketing and business management experience spanning early-stage startups to publicly traded companies.  Most recently Raphael was VP/GM at Adesto Technologies (acquired by Dialog Semiconductor/Renesas in 2020).   He has held senior executive, business leadership and technical roles at Genesis Microchip, Lexar Media, Cirrus Logic and National Semiconductor in addition to executive management consulting roles at a variety of well-known semiconductor companies.  Raphael has M.S. & B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Sylvain Jalbert joined SPARK Microsystems as Vice President of Engineering in October 2021. Sylvain has over 25 years of experience managing teams and projects, and product development hardware and software in different industries such as intelligent robotics, industrial, mining, heavy vehicles, train control, automobile, telecommunication, agriculture and medical. He has extensive experience in organizational transformation initiatives, team building, process improvement, and the learning culture. Sylvain is a professional engineer holding an Executive MBA from ESG UQAM.

Mohammad Taherzadeh, PhD, is a principal design engineer of different RF and mixed-signal circuits in SPARK Microsystem’s revolutionary wireless products. Mohammad received his Ph.D. from McGill University in 2011, and has 15 years of experience in the research and development of mixed-signal and RF IC design. He authored several publications in distinguished journals and conferences. His technical expertise focuses on radio frequency and wireline communication circuits, as well as high-quality and high-speed data converters in advanced CMOS.

Michiel Soer, PhD, is a technical lead in bringing SPARK Microsystems’s bleeding-edge wireless products to market. Michiel has 11 years of experience in the research and development of RFICs and microwave systems. He obtained his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with honors from the University of Twente in 2007 and 2012 respectively. He has published in internationally peer-reviewed journals and conferences. His technical expertise spans analog, digital, RF and mixed-signal integrated circuits in advanced CMOS.

Graham Loveridge joined SPARK Microsystems in March 2022.  He brings extensive knowledge of technology marketing, consumer branding, product management, and technical support experience to the company.  Graham has been a key contributor at several successful startups as well as large companies in consumer electronics, high speed SERDES, and medical markets. Prior to SPARK, Graham was VP of Marketing at Adesto Technologies (acquired by Dialog/Renesas).  He has also held various marketing and technical positions at Analogix, Pixelworks, GEC-Marconi, Genesis Microchip, Sensoplex, and STMicroelectronics.

Julie Delamarre joined Spark Microsystems in September 2021 as Vice President, Sales – EMEA. She is a passionate sales leader with more than 25 years of proven track record in the semiconductor industry. She has held a number of sales management positions at Dialog, Adesto (acquired by Dialog in June 2020), Cypress Semiconductor.  Julie has also held sales positions  at distributors, manufacturer representative firms, including her own company. She holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from French University ESIGELEC and graduated from Santa-Clara University, School of Business (California).
