SR1020 LE-UWBTM Wireless Transceiver IC
The SR1020 is SPARK’s LE-UWB™ transceiver for the 6.2–9.5 GHz band. It delivers the SR1000 family’s ultra-low-power profile, 50 µs airtime for a 1 kbit payload, and robust coexistence with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; all in a compact 4 mm × 4 mm QFN28 package.

The SR1020’s aggressively duty-cycled architecture can support multi-year coin-cell operation under defined use conditions and can also support energy-harvesting configurations.
Deep sleep current is 920 nA; shutdown is 55 nA. The SR1020 active power profile is optimized for the 6–9 GHz band; 0.39 mA/Mbps RX and 0.12 mA/Mbps TX at 3.3 V.

Robust coexistence
The SR1020 is designed to coexist with Wi-Fi 6E, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Energy-sense support and dynamic spectrum shaping support regional UWB compliance and resilience to strong out-of-band blockers across the 6–9 GHz operating band.
Low-cost integration
Single 32.768 kHz external crystal. High-efficiency PCB antenna. No external antenna component required. Standard SPI interface for straightforward MCU integration. 4 mm × 4 mm QFN28 footprint with minimal external components.
